Dedy, Ketua LSM Komando HAM Balaraja mengatakan, dari penelusurannya, saat ini judi togel marak dan banyak dikeluhkan warga. "Kami minta pihak terkait melakukan penertiban dan tindakan yang tegas terhadap pemberantasan penyakit masyarakat tersebut,” kata Dedy, Sabtu (11/1/2020).
Menurutnya, jika kondisi ini dibiarkan akan merusak generasi muda. Sebab, saat ini banyak anak muda juga yang terjerumus di dalamnya.
Hal senada diungkapkan Tabrani, pekerja pers asal Kecamatan Sukamulya Tangerang. Menurutnya, judi togel harus diberantas sampai akar-akarnya. "Banyak warga akhirnya hidup susah karena tergiur untung besar dari judi. Tapi malah akhirnya menyengsarakan. Jangan sampai hal ini dibiarkan saja," tegas Tabrani yang juga aktivis organisasi kepemudaan ini.
Dia berharap, pemberantasan judi untuk terwujud kondisi lingkungan masyarakat yang bersih dari berbagai penyakit masyarakat.
Terpisah, Kabid Humas Polda Banten Kombes Pol Edy Sumardi P menyatakan akan meneruskan informasi maraknya perjudian ini kepada aparat yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Tangerang.
